European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Mr Johannes Hahn will address members of the Committee on European Integration and the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, today 9 February 2018, at 17.30h, in the Great Hall of the Parliament of Montenegro.

The following are also invited to the meeting: representatives of parliamentary MP groups, ministers of foreign and European affairs in the Government of Montenegro as well as representatives of the relevant NGOs.

As planned, European Commissioner Hahn will communicate messages from the Strategy “A credible enlargement perspective for and enhanced EU enlargement with the Western Balkans“, previously presented at the EP plenary session in Strasbourg. The Strategy sets out general guidelines for a faster process of integration of all countries in the region, as well as more specific evaluation dates for track record.

To remind, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović is on his visit to the USA, where he attends the National Prayer Breakfast and has a series of meetings with the U.S. congressmen and senators.
