President of the Parliament talks with the British Ambassador

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović today talked with the British Ambassador to Montenegro Ms Alison Kemp. At the meeting, they discussed the issues significant for further development of democratic processes in Montenegro, as well as the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The President of the Parliament emphasised the importance of the presence and support to Montenegro by countries with a strong democratic tradition, to which Great Britain certainly belonged.
The interlocutors agreed that for Montenegro, as well as for the Western Balkans as a whole, was significant to remain in the EU’s focus, which would be especially addressed at the upcoming Western Balkans Summit within the Berlin Process to be held in London in July, and our region would also be discussed at the Annual Session of the OSCE PA in Berlin.
President Brajović and Ambassador Kemp also discussed the support of the media in Montenegro, parliamentary activities with the participation of the largest number of MPs both from the ruling majority and the opposition, as well as projects contributing to the further strengthening of the administrative capacities of the Parliament.
