Administrative Committee holds its 24th Meeting

The Committee has adopted a List of timely and complete proposals of candidates for the appointment of one member of the Council of the Radio and Television of Montenegro 

At its 24th Meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the 26th Parliament of Montenegro has adopted a List of timely and complete proposals of candidates for the appointment of one member of the Council of the Radio and Television of Montenegro.

The Union of Employers of Montenegro, as the authorised proposer, proposed to appoint Mr Slobo Pajović, graduate of economy, as a member of the Council of the Radio and Television of Montenegro, upon the Public Invitation No 00-63-14/17-152 of 23 October 2017, in line with Article 37 paragraph 1 of the Law on National Public Broadcaster of Radio and Television of Montenegro.

The Committee has decided to publish the List of timely and complete proposals of candidates for one member of the Council of the Radio and Television of Montenegro in the Official Gazette of Montenegro, on the website of the Parliament of Montenegro, and in the daily newspapers “Dan”.

In the continuation of its meeting, after learning about the Decision of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, UPI 02-01-282/4 of 28 September 2017, which determined that Mr Goran Đurović, member of the Council of the Radio and Television of Montenegro, as a public official violated Articles 11 and 13 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption by exercising public office at the same time as the duty of the executive director of the company "Nature" DOO Podgorica after the expiration of the statutory deadline, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro has decided to initiate the procedure for the dismissal of Mr Goran Đurović, member of the Council of the Radio and Television of Montenegro. In this regard, the Committee has decided to invite member of the Council of the Radio and Television of Montenegro Mr Goran Đurović to give a statement on the circumstances regarding the fact that he had violated Articles 11 and 13 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption.
