Chairperson of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget Mr Predrag Sekulić will take part in the 18th Inter-Parliamentary Meeting on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, to be held in Vienna, Republic of Austria, on 19 and 20 October 2018, within Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Two-day meeting, organised by  EUFORES - the network of Members of European Parliament and the EU28 national parliaments  - whose basic mission is to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency in the EU - with the support of the Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe – Energy Efficiency (ORF-EE), will be attended by parliamentarians of the South-East Europe.

The conference will cover issues such as renewables in electricity, the importance of regional cooperation in Central and South-East Europe, renewables in heating and cooling, the Clean Energy Package and energy efficiency.
