Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 77th Meeting

Several amendments considered

At its meeting held today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered three amendments submitted by the Government of Montenegro to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Domestic Trade and noted that they became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law. Bearing in mind the Government’s amendments, Mr Andrija Popović, MP, withdrew from procedure his amendment submitted to the said Proposal for the Law.

Furthermore, the Committee considered four amendments submitted by Ms Draginja Vuksanović-Stanković, MP, to the Law on the manner of entry of ships, vessels and hydrocarbons production facilities into register books and proprietary rights aboard ships and hydrocarbons production facilities. Following the vote, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to reject amendments 1 and 2 and noted that amendments 3 and 4 were accepted by the proposer of the law, thus becoming an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law. Pursuant to Article 148 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, and starting from the suggestion of MP Vuksanović-Stanković, the Committee decided to submit an amendment to the said Proposal for the Law which became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law, because it was accepted by the proposer of the law.

Amendments submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Public Sector Salaries will be considered at the Committee’s next meeting, which is planned for next week.
