The Committee adopted the Draft negotiation position for chapter 8 - Competition 

Opening of the chapter expected by the end of Romania's EU Presidency

The meeting covered opinions on the achieved results of Montenegro and its further steps in the process of EU accession, as well as on future models of cooperation to contribute to stronger connecting and cooperation between the two countries.

The significance of interparliamentary cooperation and more active contribution of MPs in promotion of the EU enlargement policy was pointed out
