Chairperson and members of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms visit Small Group Home in Bijelo Polje

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro organised a visit to the Small Group Home in Bijelo Polje. This activity has been implemented in accordance with the 2017 Activity Plan of the Committee and the Conclusion from the 60th meeting of the Committee, adopted on the occasion of consideration of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Social and Child Care System in Montenegro for 2015 and 2016.

Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Halil Duković and members of the Committee, Mr Suad Numanović, Mr Mirsad Murić and Mr Nedžad Drešević, member of the Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare, Ms Maja Bakrač, Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, Mr Šućko Baković, UNICEF's Representative to Montenegro, Mr Osama Makkawi Khogali with associates, representative of the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and representatives of the NGO Federation of Associations of Parents of Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities "Our Initiative" and "Civic Alliance", held a meeting with the President of the Assembly of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, the Vice President of the Municipality and their associates, followed by the visit to the Day Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities in Tisa and the Small Group Home.
