At its Twelfth Meeting, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms considered the Strategy for the Prevention and Protection of Children against Violence with 2017-2021 Action Plan, and the Alternative Report of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro Concerning the Second and Third Periodic Report of Montenegro on Implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Report by Golden Advisors to the Protector on Implementation of Recommendations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.

Furthermore, the Committee adopted three information papers on activities of the Chairperson and members of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms in October and November 2017, as well as the Guidelines on Good Conduct for Members of the Parliament of Montenegro, prepared by the Council of Europe expert Mr Quentin Reed.
