Awaiting the International Human Rights Day, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms organised today the Conference on the Rights of the Child, with an emphasis on the protection of children from all forms of violence, in the light of the Campaign of the Government of Montenegro and UNICEF "Stop Violence".

Besides members of the Parliament, the Conference was attended by representatives of the Institution of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Ministry of Education, as well as UNICEF Montenegro Office and non-governmental organisations dealing with the protection of human rights and freedoms with whom the Committee has fruitful and continuous cooperation.

Participants of the Conference concluded that the human rights of all of us individually, existed at every place and every day, and that the marking of the International Human Rights Day was just an opportunity to draw everyone's attention to the obligation of respecting human rights and freedoms and respecting the others and those different.
