At its 23rd meeting of 3 October, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms  has considered the following: Concluding observations on the combined second and third periodic reports of Montenegro adopted by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child on the application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Report by the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group adopted following the review of the human rights records in Montenegro, carried out by the UN Council on Human Rights within the Universal Periodic Review, and Proposal for the Request for Allocation of Budget Funds to the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms for 2019.

By considering the Concluding observations on the combined second and third periodic reports of Montenegro in the extended composition, the Committee gave its contribution to celebrating of the Children's Week and once again pointed to the importance of promoting and respecting children's rights guaranteed by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Three information notes on the activities of the chairperson and members of the Committee from August and September 2018 were also adopted.
