Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms holds its 50th Meeting

Proposal for the Law on freedom of religion or beliefs and legal position of religious communities considered

At its 50th meeting, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms has considered the Proposal for the Law on freedom of religion or beliefs and legal position of religious communities, proposed by the Government of Montenegro.

After five-hour discussion, the Committee unanimously supported the Proposal for the Law on freedom of religion or beliefs and legal position of religious communities (with six votes “for”), and proposed to the Parliament to adopt it together with four amendments of the Committee approved by the representative of the proposer.
