Within the third item, the Committee has considered and unanimously adopted the 2016 Performance Report of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, as a working body responsible for oversight over implementation and monitoring of the compliance with the Code of Ethics for MPs, drafted by the Committee in accordance with Article 14 paragraph 3 of the Code of Ethics for MPs.
Members of the Committee adopted the Information on participation of Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković at the meeting of President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović with representatives of the NGO “Young Roma”, held on 5 April 2017 in the Parliament of Montenegro.
Within the item “Current issues”, the Chairperson of the Committee informed the members that, due to three scheduled sittings of the Parliament, he was not able to accept the invitation to attend the Third annual conference on human rights and freedoms, which will be held in Neum, on 26 and 27 April, in the organisation of the Joint Commission on Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
