The roundtable was organised by the European regional project “Power to society - Support to public media services in the Western Balkans” and Radio and Television of Montenegro. The general aim of the project is to contribute to reforms and professional development of media public services in the Western Balkans, in order to encourage the production of pluralistic, independent and credible program content.
Two-day roundtable was focused on two topics determining the position and role of public services in democratic societies, namely: financing, managing and regulating public media broadcaster.
Chairperson of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration Mr Željko Aprcović spoke on the topic “Role of the Parliament in selection, appointment and dismissal of members of the RTCG Council”.
