Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration holds its 106th Meeting

Consultative hearing held on the topic: “Challenges in the fields of judiciary reform and public administration and further building of track record”

At today’s 106th Meeting, upon the proposal by NGO Center for Democratic Transition, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration, has held a consultative hearing on the topic: “Challenges in the fields of judiciary reform and public administration and further building of track record”.

Members of the Committee and the invited representatives of state bodies and the non-governmental sector exchanged opinions and views in a constructive discussion, within the scope of their work, in relation to two important and current topics, which were the subject of the hearing.

On behalf of the state bodies, the meeting was attended by the following: Ms Marijana Laković-Drašković, Director-General of the Directorate of Justice at the Ministry of Justice and Head of the Working Group for Chapter 23, Mr Goran Jovetić, State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration, Mr Aleksandar Drljević, Montenegro's Chief Negotiator with European Union, Mr Miloš Radonjić, Head of the EU Political Affairs Department, Ms Vesna Simović-Zvicer, President of the Judicial Council and Mr Duško Milanović, Member of the Prosecutorial Council.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the NGOs: Ms Milica Kovačević, Ms Milena Gvozdenović and Ms Tijana Velimirović on behalf of the Center for Democratic Transition, Ms Marija Vesković from the Human Rights Action and Mr Zoran Vujičić on behalf of the Civic Alliance.
