At today’s 28th Meeting, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports has considered the initiative for holding control hearing of Ministry of Science Ms Sanja Damjanović, on the topic “Science investment in Montenegro: Implemented vs planned”.
The Committee adopted unanimously, i.e. by a majority of votes of the total number of members, the Decision on holding control hearing, on 15 February 2019, starting at 10:00.
In addition, within second item of agenda, and in line with Article 77 paragraph 2 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, the Committee unanimously decided to propose conclusions (five) with regard to control hearing of the Minister of Culture Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, on the topic: "Protection of immovable cultural property in Montenegro”, held at the 26th Committee meeting of 27 December 2018.
Within current issues, members of the Committee learned about the Opinion of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption about the Law on Academic Integrity as well as about the Conclusion of the Council for Civilian Control of Police Operations, which affirmatively assesses the work of the police in the mentioned area, and proposes certain improvements with regard to road and traffic safety for children.
