Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports holds its 32nd Meeting

Amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Academic Integrity and the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Protection of Cultural Heritage considered

Within the first item of the agenda at today’s 32nd Meeting, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports considered an amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Academic Integrity, submitted by MPs Ms Marta Šćepanović and Mr Boris Mugoša.

The essence of the proposed amendment was presented by Ms Marta Šćepanović, MP, in her capacity as the submitter of the amendment.

The representative of the proposer of the law, Director General of the Directorate of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education Ms Mubera Kurpejović, accepted this amendment.

The Committee noted that, in line with Article 150 paragraph 3 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, the amendment by MPs Ms Marta Šćepanović and Mr Boris Mugoša became an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.

Furthermore, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports considered an amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Protection of Cultural Heritage, submitted by Mr Ervin Ibrahimović, MP.

The representative of the proposer of the law did not accept this amendment.

Furthermore, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports decided with a majority of votes to reject an amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Protection of Cultural Heritage, submitted by Mr Ervin Ibrahimović, MP, and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to reject it.

Following the discussion, the Committee unanimously decided to submit its four amendments to the Proposal for the Law. The representative of the proposer of the law accepted them, and thus they became an integral part of the Proposal for the Law, in line with Article 150 paragraph 3 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure.
