Fourth Meeting of the Human Rights and Gender Equality Network of Committees in the Western Balkan (HUGEN) was held today.
The meeting was chaired by informal HUGEN Chair Ms Nada Drobnjak, Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee. The meeting discussed the ongoing pilot process of post-legislative (PLS) oversight, as well as the HUGEN network's action plan for the coming year. Also, they discussed potential multilateral/bilateral events and meetings, as well as the organisation of inquiries/hearings by the committees.
Apart from Mr Momcilo Martinović, member of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by representatives of the parliaments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
