Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning holds its 34th Meeting

The Committee considered two proposals for laws and a report

At today’s 34th Meeting, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning considered the following: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Housing and Maintenance of Residential Buildings, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Water and Report on activities related to regulation of communal services in 2017.

Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Water defines in more details certain provisions and creates necessary legal framework for adopting missing bylaws in order to comply with EU directives in this area.  The Committee supported the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Water.

Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Housing and Maintenance of Residential Buildings eliminates the weaknesses identified in the application of the provisions on inspection supervision, specifies provisions on urgent and necessary works on a residential building and defines in more details the institution of the temporary administrator.  The Committee noted the need for amending the Proposal for the Law and decided to vote about it at the next meeting.

The Committee also considered the Report on activities related to regulation of communal services in 2017.
