A roundtable on “Strengthening of a social dialogue in Montenegro with a reference to the Proposal for the Law on Social Council” was held in the Parliament of Montenegro today, in the organisation of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare.
The following took part in the roundtable: Chairperson of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare Mr Suad Numanović, members of the Committee, representatives of the parliamentary working bodies, President of the Social Council Mr Kemal Purišić together with representatives of the Social Council constituents and Ms Susanne Nielsen, Chief Technical Advisor of the PDR Support Team and the Country Office for Central and Eastern Europe, ILO, ESAP Project.
Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Aleksandar Jovićević and Deputy Secretary General Ms Marija Mirjačić also attended the roundtable.
Strengthening of social dialogue in Montenegro was presented at the roundtable, as well as the Proposal for the Law on Social Council, and the role of social dialogue in the EU - European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
The following MPs took part in the discussion: Mr Momčilo Martinović, Ms Ana Nikolić and Ms Aleksandra Vuković, as well as representatives of the Social Council: Ms Vesna Simović-Zvicer, Ms Marina Vučićević, Mr Slaviša Šćekić, Ms Nataša Vukašinović, Mr Duško Zarubica, Mr Vukašin Zogović, Ms Suzana Radulović and Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare.
Upon the proposal of the Committee Chairperson, it was agreed at the roundtable that the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare would propose the conclusions on today’s debate during some of its upcoming meetings.
