Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare holds its 72nd Meeting

The Committee considered three items of the agenda

At today’s meeting, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare considered amendments (2) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Health Care, submitted by Mr Boris Mugoša and Ms Marta Šćepanović, MPs (classification No. 28-2/20-2/7, EPA 928 XXV of 7 July 2020). 

The Committee proposed a legal and technical correction of Amendment 2, which was accepted by sponsor of the amendment, Mr Boris Mugoša, MP. Representative of the Proposer of the Law accepted amendments submitted by Mr Boris Mugoša and Ms Marta Šćepanović, MPs, thus the Committee noted that amendment 1 and corrected amendment 2, in line with Article 150 paragraph 3 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law and the Parliament would not decide thereof separately.

Also, the Committee considered amendments (2) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Emergency Medical Services, submitted by Mr Boris Mugoša and Ms Marta Šćepanović, MPs (classification No 28-2/20-2/4, EPA 997 XXVI, of 17 July 2020).  

Representative of the Proposer of the Law accepted amendments submitted by Mr Boris Mugoša and Ms Marta Šćepanović, MPs, thus the Committee noted that the amendments, in line with Article 150 paragraph 3 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law and the Parliament would not decide thereof separately.

Within third item of the agenda, the Committee considered amendments (3) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Health Care, submitted by Ms Marta Šćepanović, MP (classification No 228-2/20-2/9, EPA 928 XXVI of 7 July 2020).

The Government of Montenegro, as the Proposer of the Law, accepted 3 amendments submitted by Ms Marta Šćepanović, MP, thus the Committee noted that the relevant amendments, in line with Article 150 paragraph 3 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law and the Parliament would not decide thereof separately.

At the Committee meeting, sponsor of the amendment Ms Marta Šćepanović proposed the correction of amendment 3, which was accepted by the representative of the proposer of the law, after which the Committee concluded that the amended amendment 3, pursuant to Article 150 paragraph 3 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, has become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law and the Parliament would not decide thereof separately.

Ms Slađana Pavlović, Director General of the Directorate for Harmonisation of Regulations at the Ministry of Health, attended the meeting in her capacity of the proposer of the laws (Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Health Care and Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Emergency Medical Services). Ms Slavojka Šuković, Head of the Directorate for Harmonisation of Regulations at the Ministry of Health, also attended the meeting.
