President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović adopted a decision to hold the Seventh Sitting of the First Ordinary (Spring) Session of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation, where the MPs will consider the Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the North-Atlantic Treaty and the Protocol to the North-Atlantic Treaty on the Accession of Greece and Turkey, on Friday 28 April 2017, in the building of the Local Assembly of the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje, starting at 14:00h.

Day two of participation of the Parliament of Montenegro’s delegation, headed by President Ivan Brajović, in the Conference of Speakers of EU Parliaments in the capital of Slovakia, was marked by bilateral meetings with the President of the European Parliament, and presidents of parliaments of Slovakia, Estonia and Slovenia, and the Slovak Minister of Foreign Affairs.

At the meeting of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, with the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ms Ankie Broekers-Knol, within the frameworks of the Conference of Speakers of the EU Parliaments, that is held in Bratislava, bilateral relations between the two countries were assesed as excellent, accentuating the continuous support of the Netherlands to achieving strategic foreign policy goals of Montenegro - membership to the NATO and the European Union.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović , will lead the delegation that will participate at the Conference of Speakers of EU Parliaments, to be held on 23 and 24 April 2017 in Bratislava.

Visit organised within the "Open Parliament" programme

At the meeting of President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović with the US congressman Mr Devin Nunes, they exchanged opinions on the process of Euro-Atlantic and European integration of Montenegro, the possibility of intensifying parliamentary cooperation, as well as the current political situation in the country, with emphasis on the work of the Parliament and the opposition’s failure to participate in its activities.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, will meet tomorrow (Wednesday) 19 April at 14:50, in the State Villa "Gorica", with the US Congressman, Mr Devin Nunes.
