Former President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Marko Matković has been buried in Herceg Novi today.

The Second Sitting of the Second Ordinary - Autumn Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2016 will be continued on Friday, 16 December 2016, in the building of the Local Assembly of the Old Royal Capital Cetinje, starting at 13:00h.

 

With regard to the death of Mr Marko Matković, former President of the Parliament of Montenegro in the period 1985-1986, President of the Parliament Mr Ivan Brajović has sent a letter of condolences to his family:

 

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović will pay in a two-day visit in Luxembourg and Brussels, whose parliaments will ratify the NATO Accession Protocol for Montenegro.

At the meeting, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović and UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for Montenegro Ms Fiona McCluney discussed the achievements of the Parliament of Montenegro in relation to gender equality.

 

At the meeting with Ambassador of the Great Britain to Montenegro Mr Ian Whitting, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović thanked for the continuous support of the Great Britain to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro, which was once again confirmed by a rapid ratification of the NATO Accession Protocol for Montenegro.

 

Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Mr Johannes Hahn has begun his visit to Montenegro with a meeting with President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović.
