Evaluation of the work of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Office in Montenegro as a reason for the meeting

Traditional and friendly relations between Montenegro and the People's Republic of China have been accompanied by practical measures reflected in the continuous financial assistance to the Montenegrin economy – it was noted at the meeting of the Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, Mr Andrija Nikolić, with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Montenegro, H.E. Mr Cui Zhiwei.

 

Committee on International Relations and Emigrants held its Seventh Meeting, where the Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products was unanimously endorsed.

 

At the continued Fifth Meeting of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, proposal for the establishment of 39 friendship groups with the parliaments of other countries was formulated, and it would be forwarded to the Collegium of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro.

 

Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration, Mr Adrijan Vuksanović, will meet with Ms Elen Bos on Thursday, 25 May, who is paying a working visit to Montenegro in order to evaluate the work of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Office in Montenegro. 

 

Economic progress is the biggest challenge that Montenegro will be facing internally, and therefore all political forces should demonstrate responsibility, in order to overcome divisions and political ferment, the President of the Parliament, Mr Ivan Brajović, said in an interview for the news agency MINA.
