Member of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Vice President of the Bosniak Party, Mr Nedžad Drešević, visited Sarajevo to attend the International Business Forum, which was traditionally, eighth year in a row, organised by Bosna Bank International (BBI), in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, at the Sixth Meeting that was held today, considered the 2016 Report on Development and Protection of Rights of Minorities and Other Minority Communities with performance and financial operations reports of the Council of the Muslim people of Montenegro, Croatian National Council and the National Council of Albanians in Montenegro for 2016.

 

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, hosted in Podgorica today the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Montenegro, Mr Vilmārs Heniņš.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, extended a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 25 May, the Independence Day, to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr Atef Tarawneh and to the President of the Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr Faisal al-Fayez.

 

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, will present certificates to representatives of parliamentary political parties, who have acquired the title of a trainer for gender equality, as part of the IPA 2014 program "Support to the anti-discrimination and gender equality policies". Sertificates will be presented on Friday, 26 May 2017, at 10:00, in the UN Eco Building (Stanka Dragojevića St.)

Eighth Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation, which was supposed to be held today at 11:00, was postponed due to the lack of quorum.

Members of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić, Mr Genci Nimanbegu, and Mr Tarzan Milošević, will participate in the work of the Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, to be held in the period 26-29 May 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
