Second - Special Sitting of the First Ordinary (Spring) Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2017 held

The Committee held a consultative hearing of applicants to the Public Vacancy Notice for the appointment of one member of the Senate of the State Audit Institution

Tomorrow on 2 March 2017, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović will receive President of the State Parliament of Hesse Mr Norbert Kartmann.

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedom Mr Halil Duković and members of the Committee Mr Suad Numanović, Mr Mihailo Anđušić, Mr Mirsad Murić and Ms Nada Drobnjak have met paediatrician Dr Nadine Burke Harris, recognised worldwide for her novel approach to solving problems relating to adverse childhood experiences.

Chairpersons of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare Mr Miodrag Radunović, Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković, Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mr Pavle Goranović today have met paediatrician Ms Nadine Burke Harris, recognised worldwide for her novel approach to solving problems relating to adverse childhood experiences. Also, members of all of these committees attended the meeting.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović will host High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Ms Federica Mogherini, on Wednesday, 1 March 2017, in the Cabinet of the President, at 18:15h.

At today’s Sitting of the Second Extraordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocations, MPs adopted the Proposal for the Law on Regularisation of Informal Structures.

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković took part in the conference “End Violence against Children”, which took place in Podgorica, on 27 February 2017.

The Sitting of the Second Extraordinary Session will be held on 28 February 2017 starting at 11:00h.

Committee on International Relations and Emigrants held its Third Meeting, during which it unanimously supported the Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement on Establishing the Regional Youth Cooperation Office and the Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the ILO Seafarers' Identity Documents Convention (Revised) No 185.
