Members of the Standing Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić and Mr Ranko Krivokapić are participating in the work of the 62nd Annual Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, being held in Istanbul.
Day one of the 62nd Annual Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly began with meeting of the secretaries of the delegations, during which, with the aim of successful organisation, the participants were provided with detailed information of organisational and technical character as well as instructions for successful holding of the NATO PA Annual Session, while the activities of the committees for the upcoming period were presented.
On this occasion, participants’ attention was drawn to information on activities undertaken in preparing Spring and Annual Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in 2017, and meeting of the Standing Committee planed for March of the next year.
The coordination meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly followed this meeting, attended by chairs of bureaus, committees and subcommittee, as well as rapporteurs.
The 62nd Annual Session in Istanbul brought together around 260 members of national parliaments from the 28 Allies form America and the Europe as well as delegates from partner countries and observers, with the aim of discussing current security issues and draft reports of the committees of the Parliamentary Assembly.
Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro taking part in the 62 Annual Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is composed of Mr Obrad Stanišić and Mr Ranko Krivokapić.
