Member of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić will take part in the visit of the Economics and Security Committee - Sub-Committee on Transition and Development of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly to Skopje, the Republic of North Macedonia.
This visit of the Economics and Security Committee - Sub-Committee on Transition and Development of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly aims to establish a parliamentary dialogue on the following: economic, security and regional policy of the host country, process of transition and relations with NATO and the EU, as well as considering the state of play of domestic and foreign political developments in this area, and the security challenges in that respect. During the meetings, it was planned for a part of discussions to be dedicated to the issues of political, diplomatic and economic challenges faced by North Macedonia, military preparations for NATO membership and regional security challenges, and other significant topics.
Parliamentarians from NATO member states and one associate state will participate in the visit to Skopje by the Economics and Security Committee - Sub-Committee on Transition and Development, but meetings were also planned with senior officials of the National Assembly and the Government of North Macedonia, state institutions, representatives of international organisations etc.
