Member of the Parliament’s Permanent Delegation to participate in UNIC meeting

Brussels, 28 January 2020

Member of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mr Genci Nimanbegu, in his capacity as a member of the Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security and the UNIC, will take part in the Meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council (UNIC) which will be held in Brussels, on 28 January 2020.

The UNIC was formed in 1998, in order to create greater transparency regarding the implementation of the NATO-Ukraine Charter and to demonstrate parliamentary interest and involvement in the cooperation between NATO and Ukraine. During its comprehensive work, this Council has become a far-reaching forum for parliamentarians to discuss any issue of the said cooperation of common concern.

The UNIC meetings are organised biannually and are open to members of the Political Committee’s Sub-Committee on NATO Partnerships (PCNP).
