Meeting of the Social Development, Education, Research and Science General Committee of the South-East European Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly – SEECP PA, chaired by MP Radule Novović, will be held on Saturday 24 February, in the Plenary Hall of the Parliament of Montenegro, at 10:00.
The meeting of the General Committee will be dedicated to the topic "Education in the SEE region: current situation and perspectives", and will bring together parliamentarians from ten participating countries of SEECP.
Members of the General Committee will be adressed at the beginning by Mr Damir Šehović, Minister of Education, and the expert at the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), Ms Mimika Dobroshi.
The South-East European Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly – SEECP PA was established on 10 May 2014, at the Inaugural Session that was held in Bucharest, as a result of the multiannual work of participating countries on institutionalisation of the parliamentary dimension of this initiative, launched in 1996.
Besides Montenegro, the following are the participating countries of the iniciative: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey.
