- Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has proposed, within its participation in the meeting of the PACE Monitoring Committee on 11 December in Paris, holding of a consultative hearing in the Parliament of Montenegro with regard to the findings by the Commission to monitor actions of the competent state authorities regarding the investigations of old and recent cases of intimidation and violence against journalists, murders of journalists and attacks on the media property.

Recognising the importance of the Commission's work, it was proposed that the responsible committees of the Parliament of Montenegro consider the findings and recommendations of the said body at their joint meeting, in the presence of representatives of state bodies responsible for this area.

The Delegation will take relevant steps in the Parliament of Montenegro to implement the said activity as soon as possible.
