Several proposals for laws adopted

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, will have a presentation tomorrow (Tuesday, 11 June), on the "Opportunities for Political Activism of Roma in Montenegro" at the Final Conference of the project "Strengthening capacities of Roma for public activism - United we can do more!", organised by the NGO Young Roma in cooperation with the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro and the Coalition "Roma Circle".

12th Sitting of the First Ordinary (Spring) Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2017, will be held today, at 11:00.

At the final plenary session of the OSCE PA, held in Minsk, and devoted to enhancing mutual trust and co-operation for peace and prosperity in the OSCE region, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović, as the first speaker, emphasised that our common priority goals, which would be the basis of our future activities and policies that elected representative of people created, were the greatest legacy that we can leave to future generations.

Today's session was marked by debates at the Plenary Session and meetings of three general committees on draft resolutions, regarding political and security affairs, economic and environmental issues, and human rights. At the Plenary Session, resolutions introduced by France and Switzerland were adopted, dedicated to migration, in which OSCE participating States were urged to demonstrate clear commitment to the principles of solidarity and accountability and to intensify efforts in resolving current conflicts and effectively manage migration flows.

Montenegro should have its own path to EU membership
