At the 13th European Union-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) meeting which was held today in the seat of the European Parliament, Strasbourg, MEPs and members of the Parliament of Montenegro considered the issues of Montenegro’s progress in the field of fundamental rights, social policy and employment, justice, freedom, and security. A significant topic was also the status of accession negotiations and relations between the European Union and Montenegro, and they also discussed the implementation of the previous parliamentary elections and the functioning of the Parliament.

The basic goal of the visit of the Economics and Security Committee - Sub-Committee on Transition and Development of the NATO PA to Belgrade was to inform the participants, delegates of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, on the level of domestic and foreign political development of Serbia, security challenges, European and Euro-Atlantic integration in the Western Balkans countries, and development of forum for exchanging opinions.
