Legislative Committee holds its Third Meeting

Several proposals for laws considered

A number of acts considered

Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation plans to initiate, at one of the following meetings, the procedure for the appointment of the State Election Commission. 

With regard to that, we invite parliamentary majority and parliamentary opposition to submit their proposal of candidates for appointing nine members and deputy members of the State Election Commission, within 10 days from the day of receiving the invitation.

Today, on 22 December 2016, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning held its first meeting where it considered the Proposal for the Law on Urban Waste Water Treatment and decided to submit one amendment to the Proposal for the Law. The Proposal for the Law was unanimously supported by the Committee.   

 

Fourth Sitting of the Second Ordinary (Autumn) Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2016 will be held on Tuesday, 27 December 2016, starting at 10:00h.

 

At today’s meeting, the Gender Equality Committee has considered, within its jurisdiction, the 2015 Performance Report of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms.

Meeting Mr Duković – Mr Reed

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković today has met with the Council of Europe expert Mr Quentin Reed who is staying in Montenegro within the expert mission organised under the Horizontal Facility Programme for Western Balkans and Turkey - Action against economic crime in Montenegro, supported by the European Union, and implemented by the Council of Europe.
