Montenegro as a NATO member is a safer area for French investors
President of the Parliament Mr Ivan Brajović and French senator Mr Olivier Cadic today have noted that excellent bilateral relations of Montenegro and France should be followed by more intensive economic cooperation. Senator Cadic congratulated on Montenegro’s membership in NATO, as a major state success and announced various projects in Montenegro that will contribute to strengthening economic ties between the two states. The high official from France, in co-operation with the French Embassy to Montenegro, will initiate the establishment of the French School, the Business Club and the Montenegrin-French Chamber of Commerce. President Brajović pointed out that our country as a NATO member, besides securing additional long-term security, is now also a safer and more attractive investment area.

SAPC concludes that Montenegro is steadily progressing towards the European Union
At the 13th European Union-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) meeting which was held today in the seat of the European Parliament, Strasbourg, MEPs and members of the Parliament of Montenegro considered the issues of Montenegro’s progress in the field of fundamental rights, social policy and employment, justice, freedom, and security. A significant topic was also the status of accession negotiations and relations between the European Union and Montenegro, and they also discussed the implementation of the previous parliamentary elections and the functioning of the Parliament.
SAPC in Strasbourg on the issues of Montenegro and EU relations
President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, will lead the Montenegrin delegation to the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC), which will be held on 14 June in Strasbourg, at the seat of the European Parliament. President Brajović will at the same time serve as the co-chair with Mr Peter Kouroumbashev, Vice-Chair of the European Parliament Delegation in the SAPC.
