Members of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, Mr Suad Numanović, Mr Mirsad Murić and Mr Mihailo Anđušić participated yesterday on 19 May 2017, at a press conference, where the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro introduced the "Report on the working conditions of security officers and treatment in the Institution for Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions". The conference was held in the Institution for Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions in Spuž.

Predsjednik Odbora za ljudska prava i slobode dr Halil Duković sastao se danas sa ambasadorom Države Palestine u Crnoj Gori, Nj.E. Rabi Alhantouli-jem, na njegov zahtjev.

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković will meet Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Montenegro Mr Rabii Alhantouli, upon his request.

At its Fifth Meeting, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, in the extended composition, and in its capacity of responsible body, has considered the 2016 Performance Report of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, and the 2016 Status Report on Personal Data Protection and Access to Information, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information. Following the discussion, the Committee unanimously supported the 2016 Performance Report of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro as well as the 2016 Status Report on Personal Data Protection and Access to Information, and it will submit the Report with Proposal for Conclusions to the Parliament thereof.

 

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković has met with a SIGMA expert (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management in Eastern and Central Europe countries) Mr Dawid Sześciło on 11 April 2017. The meeting was also attended by a member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration MP Mr Miloš Nikolić.

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković will meet today with a SIGMA expert (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management in Eastern and Central Europe countries) Mr Dawid Sześciło.

Chairperson and members of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms had meeting with EC expert in the field of human rights Ms Ivana Roanja, in the Parliament of Montenegro, on 6 April 2017. The meeting was also attended by Ms Roxana Merticariu, representative of the European Commission, as well as representatives of the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro.
