NATO Parliamentary Assembly 2018 Spring Session

Warsaw, 25-28 May 2018

Representative of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić will take part in the Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which will take place in Warsaw, Poland, in the period from 25 to 28 May 2018.

This meeting will be hosted by the Delegation of the Republic of Poland to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

The Spring Session in Warsaw will gather approximately 260 parliamentarians from 29 NATO member states, from North America and Europe, as well as delegates from partner countries and observer countries, with a goal to consider current security issues and draft reports of the Parliamentary Assembly’s committees in that respect.

Saturday and Sunday, 26 and 27 May, will be dedicated to meetings of five committees of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly: Political, Defence and Security Committee, Science and Technology Committee, Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security and Economics and Security Committee.

During the said meetings, the delegates will be addressed by representatives of governments, academic community, NATO and the NGOs.

During the Plenary Session on Monday 28 May 2018, as it was announced, the following will address the participants: Paolo Alli, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly; Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland; Marek Kuchciński, Marshal of the Lower House of Parliament (Sejm); Stanisław Karczewski, Marshal of the Upper House of Parliament (Senate) of the Republic of Poland; Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister, and Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General and Chair of the North Atlantic Council.
