Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić took part in 2018 meeting of the NATO PA Standing Committee

On day one of the NATO PA 2018 Spring Session, a meeting of the Working Group on Education and Communication about NATO was held. It was chaired by Dr Karl A.  Lamers from Germany.  Also, the meeting of the Standing Committee was held during which draft declaration on Affirming NATO’s Unity and Credibility at the Brussels Summit was considered.  The topic was presented by Lord Campbell of Pittenweem (United Kingdom), Vice-President of the NATO PA, followed by a discussion on the upcoming activities in 2018, with a special reference to priorities in work and current issues from the scope of work of the NATO PA.

The Spring Session in Warsaw has gathered approximately 260 parliamentarians from 29 NATO member states, from North America and Europe, as well as delegates from partner countries and observer countries, with a goal to consider current security issues and draft reports of the Parliamentary Assembly’s committees.

The 2018 Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will continue tomorrow.
