The NATO Parliamentary Assembly, in cooperation with the Macedonian Parliament, will organise the 98th Rose Roth Seminar titled: “Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Western Balkans: Reinforcing the European Peace Project”, which will be held in Macedonia, from 27 to 29 June 2018.

For the most part, the seminar will focus on fostering a discussion on the rule of law, administrative and judicial reforms in the Western Balkans, anti-corruption efforts, good neighbourly relations and stability in the region, migration crisis, NATO aspiration in this area, and the process of European integration of the host country. The main goal of this NATO Parliamentary Assembly event is to provide a forum for sharing views on the internal and external challenges that the Western Balkan countries are facing, the issues of defence and security sector reform in the region, and to specifically address the issues of democratic governance and parliamentary oversight in this area.
