Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić met Mr Talat Xhaferi, President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. During the conversation, they expressed pleasure with the organisation of and attendance to the NATO PA, continuation and further improvement of cooperation, possibilities for exchange of opinions on the current situation in Macedonia and advanced steps taken in political field with regard to that.

On day two of the seminar, the participants discussed the following topics:  “NATO’s Aspirants in the Western Balkans:  The Way Forward”, “Defence and Security Sector Reforms” and “From Skopje to Brussels:   Next Steps in the European Integration Process”

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly, in cooperation with the Macedonian Parliament, organises the 98th Rose Roth Seminar titled:  “Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Western Balkans: Reinforcing the European Peace Project”, in Macedonia, from 27 to 29 June 2018.

The Seminar will continue its work tomorrow.
