The final day of the seminar was focused on the topics such as: “The State of the Media Landscape in the Western Balkans: The Influence of Disinformation and Misinformation in the Creation of Public Opinion” and “Interethnic Relations in the Western Balkans”.
The NATO Parliamentary Assembly, in cooperation with the Macedonian Parliament, organised the 98th Rose Roth Seminar titled: “Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Western Balkans: Reinforcing the European Peace Project”, in Skopje, Macedonia, from 27 to 29 June 2018.
Member of the Parliament of Montenegro's Permanent Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić attended the meeting.
The seminar gathered about a hundred participants, including parliamentarians from NATO member states, associate and partner countries, senior officials mainly form the host country and representatives of international organisations, non-governmental sector, universities and representatives of public opinion.
This basic aim of this gathering was to provide a forum and to enable dialogue at the parliamentary level on the issues of security among the main legislators of the NATO member states and their counterparts from partner states and to provide the participants with current information on the subject matter.
