Permanent delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly composed of Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić, Head of Delegation and Mr Genci Nimanbegu, member, will take part in the work of the Joint Meeting of the Defence and Security, Economics and Security and Political Committees and officers of the Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security and of the Science and Technology Committee. The meeting will be held in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, in the period 18-20 February 2019.

The Joint Meeting is reserved for member delegations of the North Atlantic Alliance and represents an opportunity for participants, in the context of professional support and exchange of knowledge, to develop a dialogue with the lecturers from NATO and other organisations based in Belgium on the current topics from the field of security and defence.

Also, a meeting of delegates in NATO Headquarters is planned for this opportunity, as well as a meeting of the Working Group on Education and Communication about NATO. Their work aims to provide a broad picture of the models applied in the education systems of the member states of the Alliance, in the context of education on security issues and NATO, examining good examples in this regard as well as the possibilities for their improvement.
