The Committee has decided to propose to the Parliament to grant approval for initiating criminal proceedings and ordering detention against members of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Andrija Mandić and Mr Milan Knežević

The Committee reissued an Open Vacancy Notice for appointment of a member of the State Election Commission from among the representatives of civil society, non-governmental sector and universities

 

At today’s Third Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation, the Committee determined the Proposal for a decision on appointing nine members of the State Election Commission, in accordance with proposals by political parties and coalitions from the parliamentary majority and opposition

 

At today’s meeting, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation has initiated the procedure for appointing nine members of the State Election Commission. With regard to that, the Committee called the parliamentary majority and opposition to submit their proposals of candidates immediately, in line with their legal obligations, and no later than Thursday, 29 December 2016 - up to the beginning of the Third Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro.

 

Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation plans to initiate, at one of the following meetings, the procedure for the appointment of the State Election Commission. 

With regard to that, we invite parliamentary majority and parliamentary opposition to submit their proposal of candidates for appointing nine members and deputy members of the State Election Commission, within 10 days from the day of receiving the invitation.

PUBLIC CALL

 

At today’s continuation of its First meeting, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro has noted that parliamentary parties and coalitions from among the majority have submitted proposals of candidates for the composition of the standing committees of the 26th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro, while parliamentary parties and coalitions from among the opposition have not. With regard to that, the Committee has established a list of candidates in line with submitted proposals, and in accordance with Article 36 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, which says that members of committees shall be elected upon the proposals of MP groups, whereas, composition shall be considered to be full in terms of quorum for work and deciding, provided that more than a half of committee members have been elected.

At the First meeting of the Administrative Committee of the 26th Convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro, which has started today, the Committee determined a number of permanent committees.

Administrative Committee: Public Notice

MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović has met with the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), upon their initiative. The IMF delegation is staying in Montenegro in order to collect information for preparation of its regular Mission, in accordance with Article IV of the Articles of Agreement of the Fund.
