Delegation of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, headed by the Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Luigj Shkrela, met in the Croatian Parliament with Mr Ante Sanader, Chairperson of the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee of the Croatian Parliament and Mr Žarko Tušek, Chairman of the Credentials and Privileges Commission of the Croatian Parliament. The meeting was also attended by Mr Silvano Hrelja, Deputy Chairperson of the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee, Mr Darko Parić, Deputy Chairman of the Credentials and Privileges Commission and Mr Arsen Bauk, member of the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee. Representing the Service of the Croatian Parliament, the meeting was attended by Ms Sandra Mužek Matišić, Secretary of the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee, Ms Vlatka Dragia, Secretary of the Credentials and Privileges Commission and Ms Silvana Vukobrat, Senior expert secretary at the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee.

Delegation of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, headed by the Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Luigj Shkrela, will pay an official study visit to the Croatian Parliament, in the period 5-7 July 2017

Address by Chairperson of the Administrative Committee Mr Luigj Shkrela, regarding the disruptive behaviour of the MPs of the Democratic Front during the Ninth Meeting of the Administrative Committee:

At the Ninth Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation, upon proposal of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office Kti-S. No.13/17 of 30 May 2017, following the discussion, the Committee has unanimously decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt a Decision to give approval that criminal proceedings can be initiated and detention ordered against Mr Nebojša Medojević, member of the Parliament of Montenegro, because of the criminal offence – Creation of Criminal Organisation from Article 401a paragraph 1 with regard to paragraph 6 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.

Eighth Meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 26th Convocation, which was supposed to be held today at 11:00, was postponed due to the lack of quorum.

The sitting of the First Extraordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2017, held on 15 February 2017, considered the Report with the Proposal of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro No 00-75/17-1/2, EPA 92 XXVl, published on 14 February 2017 on the website of the Parliament of Montenegro and delivered to 81 MPs.
