The 2016 Performance Report of the Committee and the 2017 Work Plan of the Committee have been adopted

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, met today with the representatives of NGO "Young Roma". On this occasion, he congratulated the activists of the non-governmental organisation on the award they received from the European Union, for the best project "Through Education to Integration", which refers to the integration of Roma in the Western Balkans and Turkey.

Tomorrow on 6 April 2017, Chairperson of the Security and Defence Committee Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić will meet with Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Podgorica Mr Petr Šmejkal.

Legislative Committee holds its 12th Meeting

At the 12th Meeting that was held today, Legislative Committee examined allegations contained in constitutional complaints and their supplements, submitted to the Constitutional Court of Montenegro by Milan Knežević and Andrija Mandić. After discussion, the Committee determined opinions with the proposal for the response to the Constitutional Court of Montenegro.

Meeting Mr Nikolić - Mr Del Monaco

Regarding the attack in the subway in Saint Petersburg, President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, sent a letter of condolences to Ms Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and Mr Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairperson of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

In a letter of condolences of the President of the Parliament to the authorities and the citizens of Russia, it was stated that Montenegro in the most strict way condemned this barbaric attack on innocent civilians, along with the desire for a quick recovery of the injured.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro  Mr Ivan Brajović today opened the Third Session of the Students’ Parliament. On that occasion, president Brajović voiced his expectation that through questions and debate the students would inform the wider public on challenges faced by the young, their dilemmas, the way they see their future in Montenegro, and how they see their country in the coming decades.
