2016 Performance Report of the National Security Agency considered

In the occasion of 10 April - the Jewish holiday Passover, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović extended a congratulatory message to the President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro Mr Jaši Alfandari 

Chairperson and members of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms had meeting with EC expert in the field of human rights Ms Ivana Roanja, in the Parliament of Montenegro, on 6 April 2017. The meeting was also attended by Ms Roxana Merticariu, representative of the European Commission, as well as representatives of the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro.

The Gender Equality Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro will hold the Sixth Session of the Women’s Parliament, on Friday 7 April 2017, starting at 11h.

Visit within the “Open Parliament” programme

Chairperson of the Security and Defence Committee Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić today has met with Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Podgorica Mr Petr Šmejkal. The topic of their meeting was organisation of the upcoming visit of the Security and Defence Committee and the Committee on European Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic to the Parliament of Montenegro.

The decision on NATO membership should be made by legitimately elected representatives of the people in the Parliament of Montenegro, based on the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, said Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Andrija Nikolić during his meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Montenegro H.E. Mr Vincenzo Del Monaco.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ivan Brajović, will participate at the XV Conference of the Speakers of Parliaments of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative (AII), to be held on 6 and 7 April 2017, in Ioannina, Greece.
